The squeaking wooden stairs combined by the odour of old wooden floor and ceiling the ornate floral patterns decorating the walls and the vitrage just add up th the whole experience. Vila retezat overlooks the breath taking Carpathian mountains. It's run by two very nice and helpful ladies that were always offering to help make your stay comfortable. We would definitely recommend it for anyone seeking a quiet stay and would definitely like to visit again in the future.

You park on the street, however the building has cameras, so it was really safe. I loved the stay in this apartment.

The view was impressive, breathtaking. We enjoyed a barbecue lunch in the garden and roasted fish brought from a nearby trout farm which was enchanting.

A wonderful host and amazing staff members . The 10/10 is not high enough to score for this property, we will certainly return without a doubt . More than a 5• property , a must stay for anyone visiting around this area of Romania , easy access via train to other Romanian towns and Braşov and Bucharest. I cannot put into words to express more highly our stay because perfect doesn’t seem enough . Absolutely outstanding .
