They went out of their way to help locate a misplced phone. Very caring and price was reasonable.

Free bike rental, it’s so easy and relaxing to just cycle through the rice fields (or go to the neighboring villages), go to little cafés… Dinner is eaten with all guests and the family and was really good. Most of all, the host is sooo kind and caring! I had a great stay and met some nice people. Definitely recommend!

The mattress in my opinion fantastic yes a vietnamese one so hard but very comfortable. Food is absolutely amazing never expected it to be that good! Slightly higher prices for the food but absolutely soo worth it. Shower nice and warm. View is absolutely amazing.

Her place was spotless and comfortable. We booked 3 rooms for 3 nights and ate breakfasts and dinner there. Dinner was plenty and great food. Breakfast was simple, but tasty. The showers were so inviting as they were carefully designed by allowing us to take hot showers over smooth stones. We were able to use her free bikes and biked through the beautiful rice paddies. We had our laundry washed and neatly folded for free. While Mai Chau is a simple village, the view of the rice paddies were so calming and beautiful. We highly recommend staying here for at least one night. You won’t regret it. We chose to stay for 3 nights and took day trips to Pu Luong and the glass bridge in Moc Chau. Pu Luong was beautiful, but the glass bridge was over priced and the view not worth the visit as you look out onto an eroded dirt mountain. The best part of our stay was getting to know Ms. lim and learned about her journey to make the Lim’s house Homestay happened. It took her 15 years to build the place, with just her and her brother. We were also impressed with Ms. Lim’s philosophy in ecotourism. She is an amazing woman with a kind heart who generously helps villagers in need. If we ever come back, we would stay at Lim’s house again. The only thing we would wish is for the beds to be softer, but this is a minor thing. Ms. Lim is well connected in the community. If you need a ride to other areas while staying at her place, she can arrange that easily.
