Loved the location although Lady Gaga concert was on same day of my arrival so chaotic to get to Leme. Lovely, bright, clean hostel - dorms are perfect and a curtain and mozzie net on each cubicle provides extra privacy. hot showers, cleaned daily. great breakfast - highly recommend it.

Very beautiful architecture, clean rooms and facilities, uncomplicated booking process with no prepayment (not typical for Brazil), beautiful views , facilities to have healthy home cooked food for a good price (not just burgers and pizzas), safety and security, and the most important the wonderful and welcoming staff. If you come here expecting a big party hostel with a lot of alcohol and testosterone fueled action , you will be disappointed. If you come here for a peaceful place to relax and get some quiet time away from the crowds you will be very happy.

Great location, 5 mins from metro station. Super nice and helpful host - Eduardo. You can ask about hike recommendations and what is going on in Rio. As this is dorm room this is a great opportunity to meet other people. Also good internet connection from room and kitchen to make some work. Desk for you laptop is available in front of the room.

We stayed in this hostel for 4 nights during Carnival 2023. The host was very helpful and informative upon arrival. Security was excellent and we felt safe at all times. I liked the breakfast very much. It provided excellent value for money and was unlimited (Bread Loafs, Butter, Cheese, Jeely/Jam, Coffee, Fruits, Juice, Yugurt). The owners/managers (Alex & Lilly) were excellent. They walked with me helped me get a Local SIM Card and helped me buy groceries and local cheap phone.

This hostel is a very beautiful place in Santa Teresa -Lapa area! It's in a quiet area but only a few minutes away from some restaurants and the centre! It's easy to meet people ,it has a great breakfast and the staff is super friendly and helpful in any way!!! It ain't close to the main beaches though but with Uber or metro you'll be down there in no time! But if you only looking for this then you rather stay in Copacabana or Ipanema I'd say! Highly recommend and definitely would stay again! Thanks !
