Very friendly staff who made me feel welcomed not only to the hostel but also to the city. Ticino ticket that enables free public transport is a really good invention and I suggest strongly other tourists to use it.

The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station.

Surrounded by a lush garden, the Youth Hostel Locarno is 1.5 km away from the train station and the Lake Maggiore.

Everything I expect from an HI hostel really. Particularly liked the dinner option in the evening and breakfast in the morning, which is a good money-saver. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable.

Situated in Contra and with Piazza Grande Locarno reachable within 5.9 km, Casa San Bernardo features a terrace, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a restaurant.

Friendly staff, good breakfast. The restaurant is good, very tasty food. It has a hostel vibe but for the price, it's great. Better to have a car... not central. Very spacious showers. The view from the terrace is fantastic!

Clean and quiet hostell. Location is suoerb! Fridge, microwave and lockers. Locked carage for bicycle. Easy to arrive with train. The private room was large enough to stay some days.
