This was a lovely hostel to stay in for a couple of nights in Medellin! Our flight was delayed and the owner was very kind and let us check in horribly late. The hostel itself was clean and had cute decor. We also loved the breakfast (I think it was my favourite out of all the accommodation we stayed at in South America!). It was in a convenient location and was a very short walk to a subway station that had links to the centre. I would definitely recommend staying here!

The room is spacious and has the absolutely best shower we’ve had during our Colombia trip. The kitchen is well equipped and staff are accommodating and helpful. It’s located on a very safe and quiet neighbourhood with nice cafes and restaurants around and close to the metro. We’d definitely stay here again!

Bedrooms roomy, stayed in dorm with 4 beds and there is a lot of space. Rooftop bar and pool are great. Perfect location and very friendly staff. Second time staying here.

I was so glad to get the chance to stay at Del Cielo. Tomas is an inspiring guy who is going to (and has done) amazing things for La Loma. The area feels like a home away from home, so incredibly safe, I got a bit lost one evening, and I was walked back to the hostel by locals. So kind. It's super easy to jump on the local buses and get to the metro, it's not far from all the places you want to go. Ubers learn something new everything time they go there, seeing it's a great place to live and stay and that people want to visit and stay in La Loma. The hostel itself is super friendly, and everyone is lovely. Lili, the kids, Tomas. When I was there, there was an empanada cooking class, and a barbecue where everyone got involved, and got to know each other. Lili gave me some salsa tips, and I learned about Call Me Mamá. What a great project. Each day I was there, there was a new piece of equipment added to the kitchen, a conscious effort to constantly improve. The View!!! Breathtaking, day and night!! Impossible to grow tired of. I think this hostel is going to grow in its success and popularity, and I wish it all the success possible. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING AT THIS HOSTEL FOR AN AUTHENTIC Medellin experience. ❤️
