The kindest people working in this place and their service was something I couldn’t recommend enough. I had a medical emergency while in the hostel and they all helped me and gave me all the help I needed. I have then in my heart for life :)

It's surrounded by nature. Very nice view from the room. 10 to 15 minutes walk from Playa Los Cocos, a beautiful beach, but be careful, the waves are sometimes big and strong. The breakfast was so good, we took the pancakes every morning. The staff is very friendly, very helpful and always smiling. The receptionist helped us with information on how to come from Santa Marta airport and booked a bus for us from this place to Cartagena. You can refill your bottle of water. It's 10 minutes by bus from Tayrona national park.

Hostal velero relax is situated on the beachfront in Santa Marta, a few steps from Guachaca Beach and 42 km from Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino.

This was an absolute surprise and perfect from start to finish. The family hosting this place is so loving and the place and the location just breathtaking! I started by reserving a room and then ended up sleeping on the last floor on just a mattress - so basic but the nature there is just incredible. steady waves and a bit of wind make it the perfect ambiance to sleep outside. No noise at all for cars as the place is located directly in front of the beach. I highly recommend you go there !

Hands down the best hostel I have ever stayed in my life. The river , the tubbing, the dj sets and the parties are wiiiilldd!!!! The food is amazing too. Special thanks to angel at the reception. We stayed in the cabañas and they are beautiful. An al fresco shower is such a great touch. The permaculture tour was wonderful too, so insightful and interesting. They are doing some really special work there. I cannot flaw the place. It is a bit of bop to get too but it is so worth it, I wish we could’ve stayed longer
