All staff were helpful. During my trip I had a problem and the hotel staff were helpful and offered a solution. The rooms were clean and well kept. It is great to spend time on the sofa in the cool common area, charging my mobile phone. Being away from Paharganj, there were no scams or security concerns when walking around the nearby markets. Metoro Station is also close by, making it easy to get around. I will come back to here again!

The staff were so friendly and helpful from the moment we stepped inside. There is a great atmosphere with nice chill spots in the garden and on the rooftop. The location is excellent- we stayed somewhere different (near old Delhi) in our first stay in Delhi and we wish we stayed here originally. Our previous location didn’t feel safe, and we didn’t feel that we could walk around outside the hotel. We had a private room and it was like luxury! Comfortable bed, plants in the room and amazing shower!

I was so lucky to find Desire Hostel! It was the first place I went in India and as a solo female traveller, Sunny & Aniket (both work at the hostel) made me feel so welcome and safe.
