Hostels in Nara

Very cheap price for a double bed room with a private bathroom - check in and check out are extremely no-fuss, you just walk in and out. Room was actually bigger than the last budget hotel we stayed at. Very short walk from the station, great food places within walking distance too.

I don’t think I have ever rated a property as perfect, but this was one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. It is immaculately clean, and well located only minutes walking from Nara Station and Nara Park. Hiro-San and his family are the most generous hostel hosts I have ever encountered. Great location. Everyone in the hostel were very welcoming and treat me warmly.

The location was ideal to walk to Nara park, and the husband and wife owners (I'm terrible with names 😅) were incredibly warming and open when I arrived, and helped to call a restaurant when I needed to check my booking. My room was lovely, and this is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in!

It was clean, really really nice for such a cheap hostel, pretty good location (right in the middle of sightseeing locations but not too far from the station).
