Really calming and communal atmosphere. The owner Max has a great taste of music on the speaker. He is also very helpful and kind. The food is amazing, and the location is very convenient if you wanna surf, but is still nicely tucked away from the main road.

My stay at 234 Weligama was wonderful, the location right on the beach is exactly what I was looking for! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely made me feel welcome. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, with beautiful surroundings that make it perfect for unwinding, and overall it felt like excellent value for money.
