The staff were super friendly and helpful! Whether it was the young lady during the day or the two men at night, all of them were kind and agreeable, always there if you had a question or request. Very easy to talk to as well for people who might be more timid when speaking to the staff. Don't hesitate to ask about things to do around. The hotel was a 5 minute walk from the ferry, and depending on the period, they come by quite often and quite late into the night (around 11 pm is the last one). Not to mention, the ferries in Amsterdam are free! Once you reach the central part of Amsterdam, you have a bus stop 5 minutes away from the drop-off to take you to the central station (around 15 minutes). There isn't any breakfast yet, but the hotel is only 6 months old. There is, however, a couple of nice spots around (more or less 15 minutes away by foot) to get some breakfast or coffee. The bunks were very big, so you don't feel claustrophobic at all. I'm tall, and I could sit up, roll around, get changed, and do everything without hitting my head. The curtains always give you both privacy and darkness during the night, too. Mattresses very comfy as well. Not at all thin and uncomfortable like most hostels, but more 'hotel-grade'. So are the pillows. The sheets and the blanket were also very soft and comfortable. The showers, much like everything else, were SUPER CLEAN. I'm usually not the biggest fan of showering in hostels because of cleanness issues, especially when it's not private showers per dormrooms but commons ones, but I honestly looked forward to showering when I came back at night. They also had shampoo and shower gel, and the cleaning lady comes in in the morning to make sure everything is okay in the bathrooms and shower. For female travelers who might feel skeptical about staying in a mixed dorm, let me tell you that I honestly would come back on my own without any second thought.

It was based in such a good area very tourist comfortable. I had a lower cube room, which I thought wouldn’t be good but it was actually very comfortable and cool. Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed our stay and were said to leave. The lights were great and many charging ports. My only complaint is that I would often get too warm during the night but I prefer a cold room anyways. But just take the duvet off and it was completely fine! The shutter on the side of the room one was broken but we worked out a way to balance it and it was fine! The toilets had everything you needed. Always a shower free, clean towels, hairdryer and shampoo and body wash. We were very happy here and I’d definitely suggest it! :)
