Location is great. I had one of the deluxe rooms overlooking the canal. I knew going in that it would be fairly simple since it is still a hostel but I found it charming. Had a beautiful view of the canal and all the essentials were there. The cafe up front is also very nice. It’ll be easy to get in and out of most of the major tourist locations from here.

ClinkNOORD is situated in Noord area, just across the IJ River and within 10 minutes from the back of Amsterdam Centraal Station. The ferry ride is free and available 24/7.

The best option in downtown if you travel alone and need only a place to sleep close to everything. Very pleasant and helpful staff, large and convenient kitchen with everything needed. I love staying here, hope will come back again someday
