The reception of me, when I arrived was so great and with a personal service. Basically always with a smile "away" and cheerful and that made it such a friendly environment which all of us guests joined in to. I've already booked one more stay, as soon as I got home!!

Look no further for hostel stays in Funchal. It is extremely clean, lovely staff, great beers for 1€ and my bedroom was so nice with a balcony. I would stay here again should I need a hostel stay close to everything in the city. Thank you guys, the auto check in and check out is a great touch too :)

The owner was super efficient and very helpful. I was travelling with a family member with poor disabilities and Moisés the owner was of great help and made us feel so welcome. I suggest taking the pick up option too.

We loved the apartment. It was very cozy, tasteful, and perfectly equipped. There was everything we could need. We loved its location in a quiet north coast area. The sound of the ocean did not bother us at all, we liked it, we could sleep there very well. The owners were very attentive, a bottle of good wine, fruits, biscuits, a bottle of milk, cornflakes and other courtesies of the house were waiting for us. The restaurants they recommended were very good. My only surprise was an additional fee of 40€ for late check-in (at 23:00). Unfortunately, we could not manage to arrive sooner since the flight schedule.

The location is very good. Close to the sea and downtown. The host, Ruben, is very open cheerful and helpful. A 10. The bedroom is huge and all the furniture is good quality unique & artsy. The kitchen is great, very well organized and equipped. Every service is at hand.

It was my first hostel experience and it hasn't disappointed me! Everything was perfect. Extremely helpful staff, well equipped kitchen, cute terrace, clean and nicely decorated, lovely group of people. Next time in Madeira will stay there again without any hesitation! Thank you, guys!

I had a nice stay at this hostel, which is very centrally located, in the street full of small restaurants, close to the market and shops, close to the main bus station (from where you go to all other parts of the island) and the town beach. Room was big enough with quite comfortable beds, clean, and the kitchen has everything you need.

My needs are minimal: cheap, safe, centrally located, warm. I had enough of everything. The hotel is minimalist, a bit old-fashioned. But everything is ok for me. There is wifi, towels, toilet paper, a small TV and a self-catering kitchen - you can do it yourself. Private toilets with a bathtub. Basically - I am satisfied.
