The hostel has a PERFECT location, we loved to walk there, we found different routes with amazing views, for our family this distance from the center was an advantage! (15min slow enjoying walk) They have a cool bbq place in the forest,with all necessary things, you just need to buy some meat and marshmallows from Coop. The owners are very friendly and helpful! The room was nice,cozy and clean! The house looks old and very authentic. There is a big kitchen with all the equipment and a fridge, where you can put your food. In the morning, we enjoyed our breakfast, just 7min walk from the hostel, in the opposite direction of the town, in an amazing place with alpacas. Bathrooms are very clean, if you worry that you need to share it - forget about it, the hostel is empty all day - everyone is hiking. The check in and out hours are also very convenient. I definitely recommend this hostel❤️

Breakfast is excellent, rich and varied. Highly recommend, for visiting the Berner Oberland region. Iwould stay here again.

You can choose between private rooms and single beds in a dormitory. Bed linen is provided, you will have to dress and undress your beds yourselves. Showers and toilets are located on every floor (basement, 1st and 2nd floor). Nice atmosphere and very clean, easy going but cleverly organised. Good food and breakfast. Nice garden to have a beer

The Berggasthaus First offers simply furnished dormitory rooms with bright wooden furniture, shared bathroom facilities, a ski bar, and a lounge. Free WiFi is available in public areas and the guest house offers direct access to the ski slopes. Ski passes are not included in the room price. Everything was great since the check-in process, the staff es very lovely and attentive, they managed to make me feel safe and comfortable. The room has an incredible view, you wouldn't get any other place. Room was clean and everything was just as it was described. I would definitely come back again and absolutely would recommend it!
