It feels like a retreat center with good activities. The service cheef David is always making sure that everything is under control and anyone is satisfied. The bartender was just great.

We have a privative beach and the feet on the beach. There is some « savage » animals which is so cute. The host are very friendly and kind. Every night there is a little activity and the atmospher is familial. It’s cool because there are dormitory which are cheap and allow people with small budget to access to this paradise. The breakfast and the food are very tasty. I recommend it !!

Great location in quiet part of Playa Blanca (the rest of the beach is incredibly busy), run by two sisters. Yes it is basic, yes you have a cold shower, yes you share the bathroom but you cannot beat the location.

You can play darts at the hostel. Hostel was nice and chill! There are beach beds you can relax on and take a dip on the sea from their stairs. Note that you need a boat ride to access and leave the property! The staff was happy to help with that, and they provide information how to get to the island. Meals are served at the same time, the staff will ask for your order couple of hours in advance. Between meals you can order snacks and drinks. Usually there was a daily vegetarian and fish dish to choose from, prices were about 30 000 cop/meal. Water and coffee is served throughout the day free of charge. Some of the older reviews say that there’s no water toilets and shower times are limited: this is NOT the case anymore! Toilets work with water and you can shower anytime. Note that shower water is brought from Cartagena so shouldn’t be overused. You also need to use hostel’s own shampoo because of the sensitive mangroves.

Playa Blanca is a few steps from the hostel. Rafael Núñez International Airport is 38 km away. if we consider that it is glamping, the rooms are big, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is large. the view from the balcony is beautiful, and the hotel is on the most beautiful part of Bianca beach. The staff is very friendly, and everything is very clean.

Gosh, where to begin… all the food was homemade by the Wonderful Carlos who has been running the hostel for the past 40 years! ~ he takes such great care of his guests and takes a genuine interest in each soul who passes through this place, also the food tastes of love & all the activities with Michael were just so serene
