An excellent hostel with friendly, hardworking staff.

The rooms have access to shared bathroom facilities. location is probably the best i’ve been to; everything is walking distance i didn’t have to take a bus once except from the airport to the city center (obviously) everybody there is young and feels so safe for solo travelers and anyone looking forward to meeting people from all around the world staff are so nice all smiley and ready to help with whatever you need, highly recommend to anyone that’s looking forward for a great time at edinburgh!

Great location, clean rooms and bathrooms, was not too loud even though there were quite a few people staying next door to me. Felt safe

Just 50 metres from Edinburgh’s bustling Princes Street, Haystack Hostel is set in a renovated 18th-century Georgian building. It offers (not 24h reception) with free Wi-Fi and a fully equipped shared kitchen. The location was perfect, it is within walking distance from all the centre of Edinburgh main attractions. The facilities were perfect, it has a kitchen, shared toilets and comfortable bedrooms. The staff was very helpful and nice.
