All rooms have a safety deposit box. It's a little bit outside of Gangtok, but it is worth it. The location is beautiful and quiet, surrounded by nature. The staff was super sweet and helpful and the food was amazing.

We became very comfortable immediately after the check in. He creates a vibe that will make you forget that you are staying in a hostel. Being an avid fan of 80's and 90's music and books, I loved how nostalgic the interior decorations were for me. The breakfast was also awesome and the common room has enough resources for a lazy hang around. I would recommend it every single time.

Just like how they have mentioned about the amenities and facilities, everything was available. Hygiene maintenance was spot on. Additionally, they have this wonderful travel cafe with lovely ambiance and great food. All together we enjoyed our stay.

The host and the staff ( Lawrence especially)were friendly and helpful. Also, the food was organic and delicious. Big thanks to the chef! I stayed alone for 11 days and it was quite safe.

Bike hire and car hire are available at this hostel and the area is popular for cycling. I could see the dim outline of Kanchenjunga, not the clear view because it was hazy. Personally it was still good. Anyway April was not the right time to see the clear view. Michilero(backpacker in Spanish) Ostello(hostel in Italian) was a great place to stay in Pelling. Everything - home made food, family atmosphere  - was perfect. And Wake in Himalayas, the hostel next to Mochilero Ostello, was also a nice place run by warm hearted family.
