They are super friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. It feels like you are coming home rather than coming back to a guesthouse. The bed was the comfiest that I’ve ever slept in! Very clean as well. I appreciated the personal tour with stories about the owners’ children. The owners also live here, so they are always available if you need them. Great location with a direct line to Narita or Haneda airport.

Well located in the Taito district of Tokyo, Hostel Wasabi Asakusa is situated 500 metres from Edo Taito Traditional Crafts Center, 700 metres from Kinryu Park and 700 metres from Ichiyo Memorial Museum. The 1-star hostel has air-conditioned rooms with a shared bathroom and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 500 metres from Asakusa Fujiasama Shrine. 10 out of 10! Totally recommend for anyone! It’s a bit further away from the city center and train stations but that also means it’s quieter and it’s still very easy to find food nearby. Everything is new and clean and it’s very organized, they have two shelves in the room for storage and they also have a nice common area for eating with hot water and a microwave. I love this place so much and it’s definitely a good value y’all.

First of all, I want to thank the staff, especially Sami, who was incredibly kind and helped me whenever I needed advice! The atmosphere feels just like home, and you realize it within a few hours—there’s always someone around, and there’s always a chance to make great friendships, like I did with Erkin, Jimmy, and Macy! I’ll miss them all and hope to see them again one day! All of this was thanks to Tora Hotel! I can’t wait to come back!
