The place is really clean as well. They have filtered water, free of charge. Most hostels I’ve stayed in in Sri Lanka didn’t offer any filtered water. The location is ideal, it’s only a 3 minute walk to the busstop and the main road with all the shops and restaurants. The beach is not even a 10 minute walk. There is also a kitchen and fridge which guests can make use of. I planned to stay here a few days, but ended up staying for two weeks.

Absolutely everything, I spent about 3 nights here and I was depressed about leaving, this place was the second nicest place I stayed at in sri lanka, it was clean and comfortable and the staff was very nice, I made alot of friends here. I feel like if you are staying in mirissa JJ hostel is part of the experience. highly recommended
