Chinoiserie is a boutique apartment which is inspired by Bohemian and oriental influences. It is a bijou space which combines the latest technology and contemporary comforts with the original features of this historic home. It has an open fireplace, spacious rooms, a beautiful garden, a private deck with courtyard and a walk-in wet room. Please note that this is a hosted property. There are two friendly dogs who you will only meet if you want to.
I am happy to share the secrets of the local area with you, including the best places to eat, where to see wild kangaroos and romantic lookouts.
We are just 900 metres from the centre of Katoomba and the iconic Three Sisters are only 10 minutes walk from your apartment. All the most beautiful bush walks Katoomba has to offer are only five minutes away. For those without a car, there is a tourist bus stop right outside the front gate. A special treat is to visit the Three Sisters after nightfall when the floodlights are turned on. Watch moths playing in the light while microbats with their wings illuminated swoop in and feast on them. Around 10pm watch for owls as they fly in to take the microbats.
