Sunsets on Martyrs is a large 4 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom beach front holiday home in Peterborough along the Great Ocean Road opposite the Bay of Martyrs. From inside the house you have a front row seat to the Bay of Martyrs ocean and it's ever changing landscape, picturesque and truly stunning. From the property walk out the gate over the road and you are at the Bay of Martyrs Beach. Our spacious balcony overlooking the Bay of Martyrs provides a perfect platform for capturing the most amazing sunsets truly something magic!! There are walking/cycling tracks with ocean scenic views opposite our property that take you right into the heart of the town The house is a perfect retreat for couples, families and groups. The house has a large open plan living area up stairs with plenty of space for everyone and floor to ceiling windows to capture those expansive views. The interior is bright and airy with plenty of natural light, a modern look with timber inspired pieces to create warmth for a laid back vibe for total comfort and relaxation. The house offers FREE WIFI in all areas. From the property you are only a short drive away to all the major rock formations including the Twelve Apostles, London Bridge, The Arch, Loch Ard Gorge, Gibson Steps and the Bay of Islands.
Our family has a love of Peterborough and all it has to offer, fishing, surfing, boating, walks and long relaxing days at the beach. We would like to share our Beach home and our amazing views of the Bay of Martyrs with you and hope you enjoy our house and Peterborough as much as we do. Peterborough is a small tranquil family friendly coastal village situated in the heart of the Great Ocean Road's iconic attractions. Peterborough is part of the Shipwreak Coast and a short drive away from all the main attractions like The Twelve Apostles, Loch Arch Gorge, London Bridge and the Bay of Islands just to name a few.
Walk over the road and down the stairs and you are at the beach. This property is at the end of the street on a no thru road. It is a very quiet area with minimal traffic. The house has stunning Beach front views and native bush land around it. Sometimes you can see the Kangaroos in the bush land and on occasions we have had Koalas come to visit on our property.
