公寓出门50米的街道口正对面就是当地公立幼儿园——机关幼儿园。左右是当地最早修建的住宅小区山水华庭和当地社区卫生服务中心，安静宜居，真正融入当地人的生活氛围。公寓门前有本土风味的高兴酒家、泰式风味餐厅。旁边山水华庭小区门口有杂货店。过马路步行5分钟可到武陵源城区主街道武林大道，超市、餐厅、各类购物店、药店、银行、城区军地医院均分布在此街道，途经当地品牌连锁餐厅富正毅三下锅总店和当地人常去觅食的亘立超市小吃街。
