Hlučov is a unique place where time stood still and where you can enjoy the good things in life in the middle of the forest. The dreamful landscape promises a restful journey, far away from the noisy and busy world. We offer quality local food with sometimes a modern twist but always in a timeless setting. Enjoy Czech cultural heritage in combination with delicious food and overnight accommodations!
We are Lucie Buhlová and Erik Houben. Lucie manages our accommodation and Erik is mainly responsible for the restaurant. Together with Roman Shon (our "jack of all trades") we are the human face of Hlucov. Our house tiger is called Joost and he is responsible for the mice management!
Our guesthouse and restaurant is situated in the middle of the forest in Kokorin National Park. Prague is less than 60 km away, and you can also visit the local medieval castles and timeless wooden villages. Hiking, cycling and horse riding are all possible in the fairytale landscape. Discover the beautiful old town of Melnik, situated above the place where the River Elbe joins the River Vltava. Also, discover the history and passion behind the Melnik wines with its beautiful vineyard landscape
