STUDIO AURÉA I chose this name as one might choose a precious stone or a guiding star. "Auréa" comes from the Latin aurum — gold. Not the ostentatious or material kind, but the gold we associate with what is rare, luminous, and precious. The gold of the heart. The gold that warms, reassures, and soothes. I chose this studio, nestled high above the old town of Annecy, because I immediately felt its intimate atmosphere. I wanted to transform it into a warm cocoon, bathed in light — a place for rest, reconnection, and serenity. Every detail, every renovation was thoughtfully considered so that, once completed, it would feel like being gently wrapped in a sense of peace, comfort, and harmony. Studio Auréa is an invitation to slow down, to be carried by the gentle energy of a space that is simple, yet deeply nurturing — in a magical city. A hideaway above the rooftops, where wealth is not measured in square meters, but in emotion.

My name is Florian, and I fell in love with Annecy several years ago. This unique place, nestled between lake and mountains, soothes me, inspires me, and gives me the desire to create — every single day. I've always loved to travel, to discover the world, and to immerse myself in the cultures and atmospheres one can only find by embracing the unfamiliar. And it’s from this passion that the desire to become a host was born — right here, in the city that holds my heart. Studio Auréa is a deeply personal project. It’s the very first place I’ve fully renovated with my own hands — and with all my heart. I poured into it my time, my energy, and above all, my soul. It’s not perfect — because neither am I. But every detail, every choice, every brushstroke was made with one single intention: To create a space that feels genuine, warm, and truly welcoming.
