This 18th century coaching inn is situated on the south east side of Leeds on the main road to Wakefield. Within the local area are two golf courses, one being the Oulton Hall golf course. There is a local sports centre and Iverage Hall fitness and leisure centre. Within walking distance we have six pubs, four serving food and one with a coffee bar. There is a very good Indian restaurant in the village, booking advised and several others locally of various food styles. Complementing these are two good pizza, three chinese, Indian and great Fish & Chips in the village. In the village there are both a CO-OP and Lidl. Within 10mins drive time a retail site with Sainsbury's, Argos, KFC, Pizza Hut etc. And another retail site called The Springs. For the motorist, fuel and accessories shop, plus a local Ford Dealership with service & Bodyshop provision. In the village is a railway station giving rail access to Leeds, Wakefield and other local towns. Bus services are close by and within easy walking distance. Now open in Leeds is the new Trinity Walk shopping centre, with restaurants and the Everyman cinema. Local walks are sign posted and close by is Temple Newsam House.
