I am Martin, passionate about the area we live and a hobby artist that uses the landscape as my inspiration. My wife Tracy is a writer and author. We live in a farm just outside the village so are always on hand to offer advise. We have lived in Dorset over 35 years so are very knowledgeable about the area. The motto for all our holiday lets is to offer the best possible accommodation whilst achieving luxury and comfort for a good value cost. Making the whole experience of your stay somewhere we would enjoy ourselves. We also have two thatched cottages both family and dog friendly on the same lane as the cabin, and a Band B suite at our farm.

Property information

Built in 2021, Primrose cabin is in its own private garden. It offers the ultimate in a luxury cabin stay. Set on the outskirts of the historic rural village of Moreton. In the cabin is a full electric shower and proper toilet, microwave, and electric frying pan, air fryer and small gas hob, making sure you get the chance to have that full English breakfast if you want! Also a BBQ for outside dining. Their is a comfy leather sofa, and a sumptuous king size bed. The WiFi is excellent. Large flat screen smart TV with satellite channels in abundance, also offering apps for you to sign in with your own details. Unfortunately the cabin is NOT YOUNG CHILD FRIENDLY, so therefor children should be supervised at all times. We are dog friendly but please don't allow your dogs on the bed.. The immediate area offers superb woodland and riverside walks, historic coastline with long sandy beaches and tiny picturesque coves offering delicious cream teas. All of which are within walking distance. or a short drive will offer you fantastic days out on the stunning Jurassic coast, . The historic town of Dorchester with its myriad of shops and renowned Wednesday market and Sunday boot fair is but a 15 minute drive. We also have two thatched cottage holiday lets very close by as well as a small Band B, Monkey World, The Tank Museum, Corfe Castle, National Trust properties and much more are a few miles away. There are very few locations that offer such choice for every individual. Please do not charge your car at the property as we are not insured for any fire hazard or overload that may occur. We hope you have a lovely stay.

Neighbourhood information

The local area of Moreton is very rural yet only a short distance from the hustle and bustle of Dorchester and Jurassic coast. On the outskirts of the village of Moreton is The Frampton Arms, a lovely pub offering local ales and delicious food. The village itself is renowned for the walled garden with a great cafe and Lawrence of Arabia's grave, nearby is also his quirky cottage Clouds Hill, owned by National Trust. The village church has unique architecture and etched windows of the only kind in England. There is a beautiful large Ford and river which offers excellent swimming, padding and dog walks. The forests and surrounding woodlands are teaming with wildlife and are perfect for connecting with nature, cycling and walking. Close is Thomas Hardy's house and birthplace, Thorncombe woods, where there is a lovely tea rooms . Dorchester has a wide variety of pubs to suit all tastes. The Trumpet Major is good value pub grub. Dorchester Market is on Wednesdays and Wareham on Saturdays. The Jurassic coast with its spectacular views, thatched villages and sandy beaches such as Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are a 15 minute drive. Monkey World, The Tank Museum, Corfe Castle are but a few of the local attractions, their are too many to mention. Award winning sandy stretches of Weymouth, the rocky shores of Portland and Polle are we all within 15 miles or less. Lyme Regis and other coastal villages are within a reasonable drive but a little further.
