Character sandstone cottage set in glorious countryside with unspoilt views to the fells. Secluded rear garden filled with flowers and wildlife with breath taking views towards Wasdale. Mix of country charm and modern decor to create a cosy space. WiFi, a fully equipped kitchen, boot room with washing machine and tumble dryer , clean modern bathroom with power shower over bath and toiletries provided. Comfy living room with working fireplace, and 2 seating areas - all to enjoy after a day exploring. Additional large first floor snug with sofa, further coffee table and views to the fells from the window. A great space to get away from the kids and enjoy a book or magazine and unwind. Please note low head height in attic twin bedroom due to the original cottage beams and door height into kitchen pantry area We also offer a small dine in menu of home cooked authentic Caribbean dishes available to order from our website which we can deliver to the cottage during your stay or leave for your arrival!
After holidaying here for many years, my husband and I fell in love with the Lakes - the lifestyle, landscape, slower pace and fewer crowds here in the West and now live here! We enjoy ticking off the Wainwright fells, exploring Cumbria and being foodies, trying out the local and surrounding food spots, We'll do our best to ensure you have a great time while staying with us. You'll get all our insider tips on things to do, places to eat, things for the kids and all the best local walks and landmarks. The cottage will also have plenty of personal touches to create that home away from home feel and a place to enjoy after a day out exploring.
Santon Village is a quiet hamlet on the country road towards Wasdale with Roses Cottage located on a small terrace of quaint sandstone cottages.
