There are many eateries and bars in the local area as well as Kirkstall Abbey a popular attraction amongst tourists. There are plenty of parks and open spaces - with Golden Acre Park a few miles away and Leeds/Bradford Airport less than 20 minutes away. The area has good rail and bus links to other local cities such as Bradford, York, and Harrogate. Town is approx. 1 mile away and buses run frequently from the main road. There is a large leisure complex within 10 mins walk which has a multiscreen cinema, gym, bowling and food outlets. Ample street parking available. Shops/restaurants/bars are within walking distance into Headingley student village. Great bus and train links. Local train station is a 5/10 min walk. Leeds main rail station is easily accessible. The main road has regular buses travelling into town which is approximately a mile away.
