The home of Lord & Lady Fitzalen Howard welcomes you to their home. The cottages are converted Almshouses. Previously home to valued staff members who became part of the family. Hidden away in a quiet corner of rural Yorkshire, it combines history and beauty.

Property information

This property is located is a traditional Yorkshire estate village located in the vale of York. The properties are within keeping of traditional cottage style. Lovingly individually decorated to the highest quality by Lady Emma. Our Parkgate's are of traditional design and building layout so this is to be considered if booking for elderly or guests with mobility issues. Each Stapleton Cottage Room offer tea/coffee facilities with their own secure patio area. They boast a rain forest shower, interactive smart TV, fridge, and a delightful private own secluded cottage garden. Located within the grounds of the stunning historic grounds of Carlton Towers. There are easy links to York, Doncaster, Sheffield, Leeds and Hull. Within reach reach of many of the major motorways including M62, M18, A1, M1.

The village is situated approximately 7 miles south-east of the town of Selby on the A1041 road. With Easy access to York where you will find the famous Bettys Tea Rooms and York Minster. Selby Abbey is one of the largest parish churches in Britain and is located just 7 miles away.
