This lovingly renovated modern barn, providing boutique accommodation set within a private garden on a small holding in Wiltshire. Its eclectic style showcases Fiona's talent for blending furniture from various eras and types, resulting in a striking and inviting atmosphere. The Barn is equipped with a range of home comforts. including an Air Fryer, EV Charger, drench shower, and a deep free-standing bath. Guests can enjoy bath robes, a selection of pillows, Smart TV, fast WiFi, and convenient parking. Despite these modern touches, the accommodation preserves a sense of warmth and individuality. A highlights of The Barn are the beautiful views and privacy with access to our 17 acres, where guests can explore mown paths at their leisure, accompanied by canine companions if desired.
Fiona & Steve moved from Buckinghamshire in 2020 to build their dream house and embrace semi-retired life. They have three dogs - Revel; Trigger, a once terrified and malnourished rescue; and Luna, a spirited young terrier - as well as two horses, Ori and Ike. The hosts enjoy walking their dogs and riding their horses along the many footpaths and bridleways nearby. Their love for their little paradise inspired them early on to create a holiday let, enabling them to meet wonderful new people and share the beauty of their home.
For many the privacy provided by The Barn allows for rest, relaxation and recharge. For others that The Barn is nestled within a network of footpaths, bridleways and byways, makes it an excellent base for walking and hiking - no car required. Salisbury Plain is also just a short drive away, offering further hiking opportunities. For those seeking more than outdoor pursuits, the market town of Devizes is only 2 miles away, providing an array of independent shops and dining options. The renowned Caen Hill flight of 29 locks on the Kennet and Avon Canal is also nearby. Other notable sites such as Avebury stone circle and Stonehenge are within 30 minutes with Longleat and Bath just a bit farther.
