Agios Giannis Cottage is situated in the heart of the mountain town land of Agios Ioannis in Raches. It is in close proximity to the village of Christos (10 mins by foot). It is a traditional stone cottage built in the 1940s that has been recently renovated by the grandson of the builder and original owner. It is run completely on solar power offering guests a stay at a sustainable and environmentally efficient property while aligning with Greece’s growing focus on sustainable tourism, reducing carbon emissions and reliance on traditional energy sources.
Agios Ioannis is a picturesque area surrounded by lush greenery and traditional Ikarian charm. It is an area also well known for it's annual traditional music seminar, Musical Courtyards (https://www.musicalyards.gr/).
