Elianthos Villa’’ is a complex with 4 Villas located in the historical village of Vamos in Apokwronas, in North-West Crete about 25 kilometers away from the town of Chania and 35km from Rethymnon.
Situated in the heart of Vamos village,is an ideal choice for those who want a quiet and relaxing getaway with family or friends, close to most key destinations.Our location combines mountains and the sea, therefore it is ideal not only for those who like to spend time on the beach.
Neighbourhood information
Vamos is one of the most attractive destinations in North-West Crete, on the foothills of the White Mountains, 300 meters above the sea level surrounded by wild nature as well as cultivated fields. It is only 25km away of the Venetian town of Chania.
•The airport of Chania is 35km away , about 40 minutes drive.
•The airport of Heraklion is about 135 km away, about 2 hours drive.
A preserved traditional road gives you the opportunity of a nice walk around the old neighbourhoods of the village, combined with the amazing views of the White Mountains and the surrounding wild nature. Part of the spectacular sightseeings are the famous chapel of Virgin Mary, a 13th Century monument, and the Karidi Monastery with the 12 Arches.Μany cafes with free Wi-Fi and plenty of restaurants and taverns where you can taste the delicious local food and get an idea of the healthy Mediterranean Diet are just few steps away.
