Lemon tree cottage is situated in a landscaped garden with multiple places to sit, eat, drink and sunbathe.The garden and sun terrace are exclusive to guests staying at the house. Private parking is next to the house inside the garden. The house has an island feel to it and this is reflected in the colour scheme. The main bedroom is light, spacious and airy. It has a king-size double bed. closet. chest of drawers and 2 bed side cabinets. It also has air conditioning and 2 windows with insect screens plus shutters which overlook the garden and surrounding countryside. A television with satellite channels plus CD player is available from June until September. The sleeping space for a 3rd person (child) is a full size single bed with comfortable mattress which is located in the entry room separate from the main bedroom. This room also has 2 windows with screens and shutters and enjoys views over the garden. The sun terrace is approx 20sqm with table, chairs and a special platform bed with cushions which can be used for sunbathing during the day and star gazing at night. There is space in the garden for hanging towels and hand washed clothes , a barbecue and sun beds with umbrella.

We created Lemon Tree Cottage with the emphasis on relaxation and a contrast to city living . As we enjoy travelling ,art, design and gardening we have tried to reflect this in the house and garden and we hope that our guests will share in these simple pleasures and experience a much deserved and memorable holiday.

The area itself is lucky to have some of the best beaches in mainland Greece. The sea is perfectly clean and easy for swimming. The beaches are sandy and often with showers. Loutsa beach is only a 3 min drive away or a pleasant 20 min walk. The well known and much praised fishing town of Finikounda is less than 5 min away and hosts numerous high quality tavernas and cafeterias at very reasonable prices as well as shops and a supermarket. Finikounda beach is also excellent for relaxing and swimming. The historical town of Methoni is only a 10 minute drive and Pylos and Koroni are just 20 minutes away. We are also fortunate to have a wonderful beach bar ( Lemon Drops) just a few minutes from the house. All in all I think we are in a great location which is very close to lots of beautiful beaches and towns but one which has its own peace and quiet where you can relax in your own private space.
