Yiannis Kirligitsis from Greece Zagori region & Rita Berends from Netherlands are a good team. They have created a little piece of paradise on earth. Here reigns quality over quantity. It is their way of life, "the guests feel at home, not as a guest but as a human, by trying to give the best for everyone who enters. They are distinguished from the majority by living there, what to grow in the garden, to create as much as possible and to live seasonable and by nature. Always a listening ear, a helping hand, a golden tip, a memorable stay for everyone who will come.

Porfyron The "red house" was built in 1860, a beautiful house with big bright rooms, and wood carved ceilings. In late 2005 the artistry renovation was finished and the house got the name 'Porfyron (Byzantine for red / purple). A plastered house with the color red, unusual in Zagori which is located in the National Park of Pindos, where ones can find only stone-build houses. Staying in Porfyron will warm you like a warm blanket of luxury. An unusual luxury of natural beauty, luxurious simplicity and domesticity. You will feel at home and enjoy the spacious, comfortable rooms for the most relaxing sleep, beautiful garden, cozy lounge and restaurant, rich homemade breakfast and the best, traditional dinners. A place to return, to remember, for all the best feelings life has given us.
