Roundstone. Co. Galway. Roundstone is one of Ireland’s most popular holiday destinations. Nestled along the Wild Atlantic Way, it is located on one of the most spectacular driving routes in the region. A spin through the Roundstone Bog complex is something not to be missed. Errisbeg Hill towers behind the village, and Roundstone Harbour to the front. The world famous Gurteen and Dogs Bay beaches are located just outside the village. The area is a popular area for artists and writers, all drawing inspiration from the beautiful surroundings. Roundstone village is host to grocery stores, bars, restaurants, and cafes. There is something to suit all tastes. Ballyconneely is 15 minutes by car, and Clifden town is 25 minutes by car. Galway city can be reached within one hour.
