Beautiful traditional cottage with two comfy bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen. Lovely garden to sit out on and enjoy the view. The location is lovely and isolated with a little farm next door. They had baby piglets which our son loved.

Located in the quiet, rural countryside, the cottage has been recently renovated. Small, quaint and cosy located at the foothills of the Slieve Aughty mountains, it is the ideal retreat for nature lovers, walkers and cyclists.
Located at the foothills of the Slieve Aughty mountains, it is the ideal retreat for nature lovers, walkers and cyclists. There are many attractions to visit nearby - Thoor Ballylee and Coole Park, the former residences of WB Yeats and Lady Gregory, where you can learn about Irish Literary history. Kilmacduagh, the ruins of a 7th century monastery and round tower, providing a glimpse of how early Christian Ireland would have looked. The Burren National Park, containing examples of limestone pavement, calcareous grassland, hazel scrub, ash/hazel woodland, turloughs, lakes, petrifying springs, cliffs and fen provides seven way-marked walking trails varying from a short 30-minute loop walk to a three-hour walk over limestone hills. Dunguaire Castle, a 16th-century tower house on the southeastern shore of Galway Bay in County Galway, Ireland, near Kinvara is also well worth a visit. Further afield, one of Ireland’s favourite visitor experiences & tourist attractions, the Cliffs of Moher await you. Located 15 minutes from Gort, 20 minutes from Loughrea, 45 minutes from Galway city and Ennis, Peterswell is a great base from which to explore the many and varied attractions the area has to offer.
