Property information

Quay Road Cottage, a wonderful, detached cottage, just a 20 minute drive from Donegal Airport, in Dungloe, Donegal. Set solely on the ground floor, perched on the water's edge, it and can sleep four people in two double bedrooms, one boasting an en-suite wet room and the property is wheelchair accessible. There is also a family bathroom, an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area, and sitting area with a multi-fuel stove, and a separate cosy sitting room with an open fire. Outside, enjoy the use of a rear lawned garden, a front seating area, and off road parking for two cars. Quay Road Cottage truly is a wonderful base for a getaway exploring Ireland! Note: Property not suitable for children under 6 years.

Dungloe is known locally as 'The Capital of The Rosses', the name given to this region of the county. The town has a selection of shops, bars and eateries, and events throughout the year, including the annual 'Mary from Dungloe' festival. A fisherman's paradise, the area has over 130 lakes and rivers, and is renowned for its fishing and great sea angling, with several charter boats available in nearby Burtonport. Wonderful wildlife can be found in the bogs and reed beds, while golfers will love the variety of golf courses in the surrounding area.
