A beautiful retreat in our private woodland.
Bakkakot Cabins are owned by Rachel and Jonthor. Rachel is English but moved to Iceland in 2005 and Jonthor was raised in the area. Along with our cabins, we own a tour company, The Traveling Viking.
The cabins are located in our private woodland that is open to guests. A short walk down the hill is the fishing village Hjalteyri. In the summer there are art exhibitions, a restaurant and we offer kayak rental.
