The B&B Antico Monastero is not a hotel, but a family run Bed & Breakfast, located in the former monastery of St. Michael, a historic building of the seventeenth century, one of the oldest of Anacapri. Left untouched by our dear grandparents, it is a part of our family house, where we will be happy to welcome you in an informal atmosphere. Please note: our rooms have no kitchen, neither dishes nor cutlery, we are a B&B, not a holiday house.
Our family lives in Anacapri for centuries. We opened the B&B Antico Monastero in the family home to share with our guests the stories that every traveler has to tell, together with our deep knowledge of the island of Capri.
Our house is located in the city center in Anacapri, the municipality which best preserves the traditional atmosphere of the island of Capri. Our location is very central and quiet, because pedestrian area, but just a few minutes from major bus stops or taxi station. In the immediate vicinity of our B&B there are the main museums, restaurants, bars and shops of the town.
