Company information

Graduated in literature with a thesis in History of Italian agriculture the owner, Maria Luisa (Lolò), is also a teacher at middle school; she loves taking part in the work in the fields during the harvest as well as the olive harvest in October.

Property information

The estate covers 12 hectares with 540 centuries-old olive trees, grown according to organic methods. Our restaurant offers traditional Salento food, with ingredients grown onsite, like our extra virgin organic oil.

Neighbourhood information

Situated in a strategic position that is at the heart of the Salento peninsula, Ruffano is a town of some ten thousand inhabitants, about 42 km from Lecce, 10 km from the sea of Tricase and 15 km from Gallipoli.
