Via Tivoli and Via Piedigrotta are ideally located to visit the Sicilian late-baroque architecture not only of Scicli but also of Modica and Ragusa Ibla (part of UNESCO world heritage list) while enjoying a relaxing holiday with children or friends all year round. Scicli is known to be the Vigata of the lucky TV series “Il Commissario Montalbano”and a town where restaurants, cafes, pizzerias, confectioneries are still able to serve you the best of the traditional Sicilian culinary art. "Your home from home": this is our motto.
Luigi and I, together with our twin daughters Marta and Sara and our puppy Flo, like very much travelling, meeting new friends and show them around this magic piece of world, full of history, art and welcoming people. We love cooking and reading and spend most of our weekends enjoying the sandy beaches and natural preserves a few miles from home.
South-eastern Sicily has become more and more a destination for lovers of art, history, beach holidays, of good food and wine.... and of Inspector Montalbano TV series. Late-baroque churches, suggestive narrow lanes, alive historical centers, long sandy beaches, together with the freshness of local food (oranges, lemons, all sorts of vegetables, tasty pastry and rich wines,...) will let you experience a dreamy holiday all year round.
