About this property
Locanda dei Baroni is a welcoming old inn dating back to 1100. It is set right in the middle of the Casentino Forest National Park and opposite the Camaldoli Monastery. Once inhabited by monks, this historic residence has been run by the Baroni family. Expect traditional hospitality, friendly service and a truly peaceful atmosphere. Overlooking the forest, all rooms are decorated in a traditional Tuscan style including antique furniture, original ceilings and wood floors. To keep the atmosphere simple and relaxing, the property does not provide a telephone or a TV in rooms. Locanda dei Baroni also has its own gardens, a bar and a restaurant with terrace. Enjoy delicious Tuscan specialities and views of the forest. Breakfast is served in the Café del Parco bar, next to the property. The property is ideal for exploring the 35 000 hectares of forest here. Follow the paths which lead from the hotel into the woods on foot, by bike or on horseback. Bikes can be rented on site.
