About this property

In the Chianti hills, this stone guesthouse features an outdoor pool and is in the rural hamlet of Salvadonica. We are Beatrice and Francesca, two sisters who have opened our country house guests from around the world for more than 25 years now. We know very well the area and we like to give travelers the best advice to visit the Chianti area as well as the cities of Florence, San Gimignano, Siena etc ...Genuine information to get to the heart of the region that the visitor is exploring.

Property info

The history of Salvadonica dates from the XIV century. Originally there was a project for a convent but it was never completed. The buildings were in fact acquired from Family Corsini (a noble Florentine family) who made the homes of farmers working their land and looked after the animals. Over time the farm has expanded and has changed until it became a resort destination for guests from all over the world Our property embodies a uniqueness that is reflected in every room, all of which are carved out of an ancient Tuscan village. Each room is characterized by a distinctive element that makes it a truly unique experience. Since Borgo Salvadonica dates back to the 14th century, each room can boast unique and diverse features; therefore, the room pictures provided are examples of the category.

Salvadonica is located in the Chianti region that is well known for the production of wine and oil. The countryside in this area is extremely beautiful and the hills are a great show during all seasons, wonderful colors and breathtaking views. In addition, the area is easily connected to the beautiful cities of Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Pisa, Lucca and many more. A beautiful area that allows you to visit Tuscany and than returning to total relaxation and enjoy a glass of wine fascinated by the view all around
