Guesthouse Chayama is located in a quiet neighbourhood of Kyoto and is part of the Kyoto Holiday Homes group of guesthouses. The house is located only a two-minute walk from Chayama Station on the Eizan Electric Railway Line. Along the Eizan Railway you can easily visit the stunning temples of Mt. Hiei and the picturesque villages of Kibune and Kurama in the Northern Mountains. Visiting the many other beautiful temples, shrines and World Heritage sites of Kyoto is also simple from Guesthouse Chayama, either by public transport or the free bikes provided for your convenience. In fact the famous Shimogamo Grand Shrine is only a few minutes away! The shops and restaurants in the downtown area are only two stops away on the Keihan Keishin line from nearby Demachiyanagi Station, and you can even be in Osaka or Nara in an hour. The property is air conditioned and provides free pocket wifi, so you can stay connected whilst exploring beautiful Kyoto. Chayama is located along the Eizan Electric Railway line. There are many wonderful things to see and do in this area. One of our recommendations is to take the short train trip to the mountain villages of Kurama and Kibune! We speak Japanese and English. We will be glad to help our guests with all kind of requests.
