Your hosts are a Buddhist monk and his wife, a licensed interpreter guide, who also offer private cultural tours for a deeper understanding of Japan. From the balcony, enjoy views of the temple hall and courtyard. Free pick-up from the nearest station and free bikes make it easy to explore the historic village and surrounding nature. A stay here is not just accommodation, but a once-in-a-lifetime cultural experience.
Hosts are Jun and Asami, a monk of Buddhist temple and local licensed multilingual guide. We love to share our cultural tradition and concepts of Japanese Buddhism to make your trip reach the heart of Japan.
We can recommend places to visit in the area around the inn, such as the Lake Biwa viewpoint, historic streets and old soy sauce and sake breweries, local restaurants, and hot springs. We provide our guests with a map and a list of tourist attractions, restaurants, and supermarkets.
