The house is located on a spectacular beach about 7 minutes outside of the main street of Arugam Bay. The sunset (6:30 pm) walk to Crocodile Rock is not to be missed. You will walk by lagoons up to the top of the rock where dozens of monkeys are playing. You often see elephants in the distance feeding in the rice fields. Elephant Rock, a popular surf and swimming spot, is another 15 minute walk down the beach. The house is in a Sri Lankan residential neighborhood, though, so guests should note that there are fewer restaurants and hotels on the street than in town.
