Property info

Fort Bakkerskil, which was previously used to defend our country, was purchased by Brabants Landschap in 2007 and transformed into a lovely B&B in 2012. Where once the troops slept, and the cannons, bullets, and gunpowder stood, you can now enjoy a delightful stay.S tep inside Fort Bakkerskil where history, hospitality and comfort come together.

At the edge of the Biesbosch! Between Breda and Gorinchem. Historic town like Woudrichem and nearby Loevestein Castle. And visit the beautiful park with plenty of entertainment 'de Efteling'.

If you travel by car, please take the following route:

From Highway A27 take exit Werkendam. Follow the sign to Werkendam. At the roundabout, turn to the left to Grote Waardweg. Then take the first left. This is the Krouwerskade. At the end of this street, turn to the right. The B&B appears after about 2625 feet.

Please note that this property is located at a narrow dyke and therefore not suitable for guests that travel with big trucks.
