About this property
The island with the iconic, ocher yellow cabins in the middle of the Reine fjord, The island have been in the care of the Gylseth family for many generations. Pictured in countless commercials, postcards, tv shows and films, this is a destination that you will not easily forget. We offer several accomodation options in our buildings dating back to the 18th century, from full size fishermen's cabins to rooms and apartments. Units with sea view overlook the Sakrisøy harbor. All our units have high speed internet, private bathrooms and fully equipped kitchenettes. Free parking are available on site for all our guests. Our neighbors on the island include Underhuset restaurant, Anitas seafood market and restaurant, Reine Adventure activity center and a local antique store (all of whom have their own seasonal opening hours). Many more restaurants, shops and the start of the Reinebringen hike are located a short drive away. The local bus stop are located a short walk from the entry to the island (Olenilsøya). Leknes airport are approximately 31 miles by car and the ferry dock to Bodø are approximately 6.2 miles from us.
