Property information

We are located in the Hanmer Forest, there are forest walks ,mountain bike tracks for all levels, dog friendly area with leash free areas in the forest. Take a walk to a local waterfall, The Hanmer thermal hotpools are 3 mins drive and town has many eateries to choose from as well as great local shopping. If you like getting back to nature and enjoy hearing native birds sing then you will love The Alpine Holiday & Apartmnets location. We look forward in hosting you.

Neighbourhood information

We are 3 km from the township of Hanmer Springs. The drive is lovely with beautiful forest on both sides of the road. Across the road from our property, is the entrance way into the forest. Well defined tracks and signs for walkers, bikers and horses. It is a 25 minute walk into the township. You can go through one forest walk and come back through another. We are a little Campground with 12 Cabins on site and powersites and camping sites. We have a children's playground, and volleyball/ badminton net and lots of trees for kids to explore. There are horses in the next paddock that pop their heads across for a carrot or apple. Across the road from us is a Camp for school camps and events for children, so safety is paramount. Shops are handy in town, as a tourist town it has so many things for people to do. Check out website for Hanmer springs.
