Welcome to Oceans 88. We are absolute waterfront overlooking our stunning harbor with it’s own jetty. Literally, a hop skip and jump from the pool into the sea. Launch our kayaks from the jetty and explore the abundant and varied seascape around us. Stroll along our beautiful boardwalk through the sub-tropical gardens that leads to the pool and waterfront. Relax on the loungers or take your aperitif down to the sofas to enjoy the setting sun and boating activities. This is truely a hidden paradise and the perfect resort-like destination. You will enjoy the renovations upgrading your suites to a more boutique offering. Superior beds, furniture and decor will offer some luxuries. The small sun drenched deck and garden outside the Oceans 88 suites is ideal for your morning coffee. Then venture out for the day and explore Mercury Bay’s activities and glorious scenery. Come home and relax by the pool with a cold one. A 5 minute stroll to Whitianga’s cafes, bars and restaurants. Great shopping and beach activities abound.
