Company information

We - Kasia & Artur bought it in mid-2021 and converted it into our dream guesthouse in the following years. Kasia Kosydar (please google it), your host, is a licensed tour guide on Madeira and a very warm and hospitable person who has furnished the rooms with attention to detail. True to the motto "good is not good enough", it has to be perfect for her. This is also reflected in her work as a tour guide (see google reviews for "Madeira-Rundreisen" and "Villa-Kasia Ocean View"). As a special attraction, she offers, only three times a week, the opportunity to explore this breathtaking island with an experienced expert, in a completely private atmosphere.

Property information

The villa, built in 2000 and completely modernized in 2024, in which we have 4 double studios (in two of them an extra bed can be added), is located in one of the most beautiful locations in Madeira. We are close to Funchal (8 km) and yet in a quiet area by a protected natural area. Fantastic view of the ocean - on New Year's Eve you can watch fireworks from the terrace or street. On the premises you will find private parking and a charging station for electric vehicles. We will be happy to help you organize car rental with full insurance and delivery of the vehicle to the airport or to our home.

Neighbourhood information

Bakery, cafes, restaurants and shops are about 10 minutes walk away in Garajau. Other shops in Cancela can be reached in 15 minutes. Bus stop is 5 minutes away on foot, the bus takes about 20 minutes to the center of Funchal. Christ statue, the cable car and the beach of Garajau are about 8 minutes away on foot.
